Roberto Olzer Trio
The Roberto Olzer Trio, (Roberto Olzer piano, Yuri Golobev double-bass, Mauro Beggio drums) was founded in 2011. Their first CD, Steppin’ Out, was awarded best album of 2013 for instrumental jazz by the Japanese magazine HYHIO (Jazz Critique Magazine) and this event opened new possibilities. Later, this same CD received a second award as best album 2006-2016.
A successful tour in Japan in 2015 resulted in a contract with the Japanese label Atelier Sawano and two further tours in the autumn and winter of 2016 and 2017.
The trio has since produced 3 further CDs, The Moon and the Bonfires (2015) Dreamsville (2016) and Floatin’ In (2017) with guest musician Fulvio Sigurtà trumpet & flugelhorn.
