Pierre Casè

Since over 50 years the Tessiner artist Pierre Casè was inspired by his native countryside. He exhibited his works in Switzerland, Italy and Germany. He was the genius of the place using motifs and materials from the local mountains and valleys to incorporate them into works of art, at times of monumental dimensions.

His compositions are a living link to the Past, a reminder of the spirit that pervades the landscape and the  importance of belonging. His works provide a corrective for the fast-moving and technologically obsessive bias of today’s world.

Pende Foundation sponsored the catalogue for his exibition in the Museo Epper, Ascona.
