AMSA: Academia de Música de Santo André

The music school was founded in 2018 in the city of Vila Nova de Santo André, Portugal with the mission to foster music education for all age groups using innovative and inclusive pedagogical practices. Students range between the ages of 3 and 60 years. As well as regular lessons, there are many social and interactive occasions to share by making music together, also in association with the local theatre and dance schools.

The Santo André Wind & Percussion Orchestra perform regularly for the community. In 2023 an international exchange between this orchestra and the orchestra of SuoniAmo, Italy was organised. The students gave concerts and shared cultural activities in their respective countries.
