AMCA

AMCA is an association for medical help in Central America. As part of this initiative, it holds courses in agro-ecological education to improve food production and support community development in the Diriamba region of Nicaragua.

Thirty young students from ten rural communities are trained in the theory and practice of sustainable agriculture and protection of the environment. After completing the two-year training, they themselves are in a position to assist local farmers as agro-ecological consultants.
